THE CHALLENGE

What began as an outdated bathroom quickly revealed a much larger renovation. The existing layout was cramped and inefficient, with aging finishes, limited shower space, and decades-old construction hidden behind the walls. During demolition, deteriorated plaster, outdated plumbing, and significant structural damage were uncovered, including rotted floor joists that required repair before the renovation could move forward.

THE SOLUTION

The bathroom was taken back to the studs and completely rebuilt with a focus on improving both functionality and longevity. The layout was reconfigured by incorporating space from an adjacent bedroom, allowing for a larger walk-in shower and a more comfortable overall design. Structural repairs, plumbing upgrades, custom flooring, premium tile installations, a frameless glass enclosure, and carefully selected finishes transformed the space while ensuring hidden issues were properly addressed.

THE RESULT

The finished bathroom bears little resemblance to the original space. What was once a dated and confined room is now a bright, modern retreat featuring a spacious shower, custom details, and timeless finishes. Beyond the visible transformation, critical structural and plumbing upgrades provided the homeowners with confidence that the space was built to perform as beautifully as it looks.
